As a child, Briella has given us the kind of hope and faith that Jesus talked about when He said, let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.  And he took them in his arms and blessed them, laying his hands on them. (Mark 10:14-16)

Briella's Hope has become our hope, and we trust her child-like hope and faith will inspire millions. Consider the reality that if Jesus is desirous for all of us to have faith like Briella (or any child), and that before we can enter or belong to the Kingdom we must enter it like a little Briella.  This simple reality has challenged our entire family.

Considering that  Jesus is still alive,  means that He is still laying hands on children to bless and heal them.  Jesus may do this healing through angels, people, super-natural circumstances, the Bible, and possibly even the child themselves.  In our case, we cannot deny the power of God as we watched her lay hands on her forehead the day she was born.  We had no idea that when we called her Breilla that the meaning 'God is my strength' would be so meaningful.  Briella has not only been our pride and joy, but our strength as she has seen two miracle healings already.

We all desire to Go Tell It on the Mountains -- that Jesus is alive and still healing people who have child like faith -- and this is Briella's Hope.

Explanation of Briella's Hope - Healing is for Today

Blessed Not  Cursed ... Healing is a Process

Go Tell it on the Mountain ... Healing is for Today

Moving Forward - Healing is of God

As parents we realize the extremely difficult decisions that have to be made by parents when situations  arise. In our case, these decisions included 1) abortion or forced miscarriage, 2) Leg amputation, and 3). foot an/or ankle. amputation.  These decisions were extremely difficult, yet we believe our primary decision was not a medical decision. Our primary decision was to decide whose report we will believe. We clearly understood the doctor's reports, yet we also knew God's track record and His report. God's report is that healing can take place, but requires faith like a child. This report is actually harder to follow as it requires parents to come close to actually reversing their responsibility as a parent, and become like a little child (like Briella) and trust promises that go opposite of what a doctors advice may be. However, the reward of faith in God is powerful, liberating, and gives hope beyond what we can find anywhere else. This kind of faith is why we have started this web site called Briella's Hope. It is a perfect method for us to let people know from a 'web-based' and 'social-media' mountain top that God is faithful to His children, and that he continues to provide healing.

Go Tell it on a Mountain .... "You who bring good news to Zion, go up on a high mountain. You who bring good news to Jerusalem, lift up your voice with a shout, lift it up, do not be afraid; say to the towns of Judah, "Here is your God"  (Isaiah 40:9).  Our family has made a decision to allow Briella to continue to lead us in her faith, and match her faith as a means to help people hear the great news from many mountain tops. People around the world have been involved with praying for Briella from her inception until today. During this process many people's faith have been challenged and grown ...  a child-like faith.

An Encouragement for Every Parent. As parents who have experienced the decisions and illnesses of a child, we understand how the enemy comes in like a flood and tries to discourage, discredit, and make a person feel that they or their child is cursed.  However, the truth is, when God comes in via our faith, He  rewards (Heb. 11:6)  and brings springs of living water and gives a blessing and favor through the circumstance.  "The Thief comes not but to steal, kill, and destroy, but I (Jesus) have come that you might have life and life more abundantly" (John 10:10).  Chris and I can reassure you that when you believe God's report, which includes the truth and fact that your child is perfect in heaven,  you will see your blessings and the abundance of life through the circumstance.

Briella's hope for complete healing continues, and we know that we have many people who continue to believe with us. We would encourage you to pray with child-like-faith as we know there should be more miracles and healings taking place. We encourage you to click here for all the Bible Healing Scriptures that will give you hope.  We also encourage you to find the 2-3  verses that speak 'loudest' to your circumstances.  For instance, Minister Joe Jordan from Kansas City, Missouri prayed for Briella and felt compelled to give us the following verse.

Proverbs 3:26  "For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken."  (KJV)

The other verse that illustrates that God allows instantaneous healing for foot/leg/ankle problems is shown below:

Acts 3: 7: "Then Peter took the lame man by the right hand and helped him up. And as he did, the man's feet and ankles were instantly healed and strengthened."

The lame man mentioned in this scripture was crippled or (lame) from birth as described in Acts 3:2. This passage brings great encouragement as it proves that God heals people with ligament problems.  Our Briella will walk on both legs and be completely healed, as God heals in the 21st century as He did in the 1st century.  We will continue to shout this from the Mountain tops and show our faith is in God.  The method God chooses to use, is not a concern for us, as we are called to be ready and ask, seek, and knock so we can see the healing like a child waiting for a gift on Christmas morning.
